WHAT DOES YOUR CHURCH LOOK LIKE? A number of years ago I was a church growth consultant and I was asked a question,  "What does a church look like?"  So here was the response, A New Testament Church should look like Jesus intended and modeled it to look like. It is described in the book of Acts 2:40-47

  1. They testify ( Tell the story)
  2. They Plead ( They really care)
  3. They Baptize ( God added to the church)
  4. They accepted the people who came ( The same day).
  5. They devoted themselves to teaching or being taught. ( Discipleship) and they modeled it.
  6. They fellowshipped.. ( in todays language they hung out)
  7. They worshiped together

The body of believers got bigger every day.  How Close Are We to being a New Testament Church? How often do we tell the story? Do we hunger to see people saved? These are a few of the important questions that we must answer honestly and then apply what we have learned . Simply go out and do it.

Blessings,

Warren
